
Judith Mendoza M.Ed., LPC

Judith Mendoza is a dedicated mental health professional committed to providing compassionate, culturally responsive care to individuals and families. She works with clients of all ages, helping them navigate challenges related to trauma, behavioral concerns, and emotional well-being.
Judith earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Auburn University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing her to connect with and support a diverse range of clients.
Her clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults in residential treatment, hospital, and outpatient settings. Most recently, Judith served as Lead Therapist Trainer at Alabama Clinical Schools, where she provided therapy to trauma survivors and juvenile offenders while also training and mentoring other therapists in trauma-informed care. She has experience in individual, group, and family therapy, crisis intervention, discharge planning, and treatment team collaboration.
Judith’s approach is warm, empathetic, and client-centered. She believes in empowering her clients, respecting their cultural backgrounds, and creating a safe space where they can heal, grow, and build resilience.
